Between Carly Simon, Tom Petty, and Jellyfish, Doppelgängers has usurped The Replicants’ self-titled effort as my favorite cover collection of all time. This album grew on me - it's not as alike to the prior catalog, other than the quirkiness of some of the sounds, but I listen to it often now and generally straight through each time. I only wish Elton Bezus had a heavier ending, but with bands who bring their music back after long hiatuses (hiati?), beggars shouldn't be choosers. Scott A Smith
